I had an absolute BLAST spinning the wedding of Brandon and Carrie Phillips this weekend! The wedding was held at the amazing Wild Dunes Grand Pavilion and I can’t say enough good things about this venue! The ceremony was held under the pavilion main area and reception was located close by in the pool area. As the sun set, you couldn’t ask for a better scene!
Brandon and Carrie had a perfect ceremony in which their friend April Allen played the seating of the mothers and the bridal party processional. She was AWESOME! I heard several of the staff and guests of the wedding commenting on how perfect her performance was !
Brandon and Carrie picked a truly diverse group of songs for their special day! I made a special mix of 4 songs for Carrie and her Dad’s song! It was perfect ! Cocktail hour consisted of Reggae themed songs to have that beach feel. It was a great fit for the evening!
Everything from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Lana Del Ray filled the night with great music! My favorite country song was also a highlight of the night- Brandon sang along word for word to Dixieland Delight! He did it justice! As the night progressed, the dancing really turned it up a notch and the crowd got loose until the LAST SECOND of the night!
This was also my first time working with Charleston Weddings By Allison and she was a pleasure to work with! She was in complete control of the evening and everything ran like a top!
The night was captured on film by the always amazing Richard Bell Photography and as you can see from the pictures in this post, they are really great at what they do!
Thank you Brandon and Carrie for having me on your special day! I wish y’all nothing but the BEST!
