Let me preface first by saying, I finished runner up in the annual Best Of Charleston voting this year. However, The good folks at Charleston City Paper chose me to spin their mega party for all the winners. I’ve attended several of these parties and have performed as well, and the Best Of Charleston 2017 Party didn’t disappoint!
This year’s edition of the Best Of party was held at the recently renovated Gaillard Center here in downtown Charleston. This place is unbelievable in every way and is just a top notch venue. And when I say that, I mean for any city!
I performed along with the always amazing Louie D Project. This band is a really, really good group. They covered Prince, Bruno Mars, Steely Dan and tons of others I can’t think of at the moment! Very seasoned band that knew exactly what to play and when to play it! It was an honor to share the stage with them!
OtherBrother Entertainment provided all the sound and lighting and this was one of the best sound and light shows! The sound was very loud and clear! The lighting was next level for a Charleston event! It makes for an easy performance with a stage and lighting like this!
Tag Your Pix were on hand to capture the night! They really are good at their job and their pics show up almost immediately on social media for you to tag yourself (duh).
Each vendor had a booth and it’s own projection logo on the wall. This made for a very dramatic scene entering the building! There were way too many vendors to name them all, so here’s a list of the ones that stood out to me!
