Occasionally, I get those really cool shows that allow me to show my craft to a different type of crowd and this year’s DIG South Innovation Conference was that show.
Dig South has been a fixture in the Charleston scene for 5 years and this conference has grown bigger and better each year! The best way I could describe what I experienced at the conference would be best said with one word! Motivation.
The speaker I had the opportunity to hear first was Robert Cooper of Cooper Strategic. I was fascinated with his thoughts on the neuroscience of success. I most certainly picked up some valuable advice and techniques to further my own small business.
My favorite speaker of the conference had to be Adam Gorlitsky, founder of I Got Legs. Adam was made famous in the Charleston area when he walked the entire Cooper River Bridge Run and get this- he is paraplegic! His highlights even made Sport-center’s top 10! It was a very humbling and perspective giving experience!
