Mary & Doug Locklair
I had the TRULY amazing opportunity to spin for Mary & Doug Locklair in Hawaii on June 10th and it was an AWESOME WEDDING! I’ve known Doug for years, and I was honored to spin for these two! The wedding was held at one of the most beautiful venues in the world, The HUI NO’EAU VISUAL ARTS CENTER! This venue was the most picturesque I’ve spun at, obviously! It’s Hawaii, DUH!!!!
Mary and Doug chose an absolutely perfect soundtrack for their special day, with some of Mary’s favorites such as Alabama Shakes and Nathaniel Rateliff. Some of the parents favorites included The Marshall Tucker Band and The Rolling Stones. There honestly wasn’t a bad song on the playlist! Super easy to DJ when the couple chooses great music!
The night was captured by STU Visuals and I was VERY impressed with their artistic approach to capturing a wedding! They were very interested in my style of DJing and they were very intrigued with my use of Technics 1200 turntables! It was a pleasure to show them club mixing style at a wedding!
I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Village Audio on Maui for providing the INSANELY perfect gear for me to spin on! The QSC, Shure, Technics and Uplighting were in absolute pristine condition and I had absolutely ZERO problems! It was like a DREAM!
I would also like to personally thank Mary and Doug for really rolling out the red carpet for us! This was not only an insanely great wedding, but an overall experience of a lifetime! It was literally a dream come true and I owe it all to you guys! Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
