I had the opportunity to DJ the John and Darnyell Abreu wedding at beautiful Mingo Point on the Kiawah Island on May 21st. This was my first show at Mingo Point and it was very impressive. The decor was an awesome combo of yellow and gray and the venue had amazing white drapes that made for one of the better scenes for a wedding in all of the lowcountry. John and Darnyell were a great, easy going couple that made for an awesome dancing filled wedding! The entire event was filmed by KLC Videography here in Charleston and they caught every moment with ease!
If you’re a couple looking for the absolute best location for a true country feel that is separate from Charleston, I highly recommend Mingo Point! When the sun sets on that island, it makes for the best venue in the lowcountry!
