JESSICA and BRANDON
One of the HIGHLIGHTS of my 2018 was spinning for Jessica and Brandon at the beautiful Wickliffe House in November! I had the opportunity to get know Jessica throughout the planning process and she’s one cool person, and Brandon is as well. Both Jessica and Brandon are very important people that are making a difference in this world with their chosen careers. I’m extremely lucky to have crossed paths!
Jessica and Brandon’s wedding was Gatsby themed and ALL of their guests played part dressing for the occasion. I put together a cocktail playlist of new age swing music by the band Postmodern Jukebox. This group takes contemporary pop music and records the music in Gatsby era styling. By far the BEST cocktail hour I’ve been apart of.
I was lucky enough to have Jessica and Brandon chose me for both the reception and the after party. I put together a custom edit for the first dance and the choreography was AWESOME! Probably the best first dance I’ve ever seen! During the reception, pop classics from Michael Jackson to Justin Timberlake filled the front lawn of the Wickliffe house for an awesome dance party! Guests were on their feet for the entire reception dancing. That’s a testament to Jessica and Brandon’s friends and family. But the night didn’t end there!
The after party was held INSIDE the Wickliffe House. And with Jessica’s love for hip-hop and Brandon’s love for EDM, the floors of that old house were SHAKING! I’ve never seen the Wickliffe House turn into a club! The wedding party and guests had the place rocking all the way to the LAST second. The staff at the Wickliffe House told me this was the most live party they’ve ever had on site!
Jessica and Brandon chose one of the absolute best photographers in the southeast, Jolie Conner. I’ve worked with Jolie more times than I can count and her photography is ART. She does something different than your average photographer and the photos in the post prove this! Check the sampling below!
